BBC Learning and a great story

BBC Learning English is a great tool for learn, it´s so easy to use there you can choose the dificult that you need, and the activities are very funny. The last activity about 6 minutes vocabulary is great because one of the most difficult part for learn a lenguage is understand the listening audios. I found just one thing that i didn´t like from the first activity that i found it was so specific, because we had to remember who said something like a "memorize". The website that i know for learn English is Duolingo that have a different way for learn like short asking and answer.

The article from Theguardian.com that I liked was about an Italian mother who comeback to reunited with her daughter named Margot Bachmann who was taken from her by her husband family in the second world war. Margot grew up in Germany and when his father died the last year, she began to looking for her mother through the International Tracing Service, a German center for world war two documentation. I choosed this article because is a story that thrill me, i never hear something like that, a mother reunited with her daughter after 71 years surprised me. I think the institutions like the "International Tracing Service" from Germany are great because have many information about a lot of people who lost them family, and make possible this incredible things.

London

The activity is very interesting because to permit to travel for London. I can know place that hope visit some day. My dream is travel for Europe but is very expensive for me. I want save much money in little time because hope travel young before to have the children.

London is very nice but only know by photos, really is not same, I want see for my eyes admire the landscape, museum, bridge, castle, tower.

London is the city whit many history, is very important know and see where happened the history.

Maroon 5

Hi guys

My favourite band is Maroon 5, an American pop rock band. Originally formed in 1994 in Los Angeles, California as Kara's Flowers.  Its vocalist and guitarist is Adam Levine,  Jesse Carmichael plays the guitar and backing vocals,  Mickey Madden plays the bass guitar and Matt Flynn plays the drums. The band has cited Michael Jackson, the Police, the Bee Gees, between others as influence but the band's style changes from album to album. The theme in most of their songs is love, frequently lost love

Is my favourite band because  I like Adam sings and all in general,  I don`t  expert in musical. My song favourite is Animals and Payphone for nothing in special, I like its melody.  “Overexposed” is the fourth studio album in my opinion is the best together  whit ther fifth album named “V” its best  songs.  Its vocalist participate in The Voice USA as a jury.

I don`t go to the concert when Maroon 5 arrived  to Chile, I hope go to next concert in Chile.

Father´s Day

I think that writing about a free topic is very difficult, I did not know what to write but lack of creativity i will talk about my weekend. The Saturday morning trip to Viña del Mar, where my parents live, when I arrived my mom had a nice lunch, but the first thing I did upon arrival was playing with my dog, because i saw him long time ago and i missed him.

Along with my mother, after lunch, we went to the hairdresser and then we passed to buy a cake and snacks for Sunday, as it was Father's Day. On Saturday at 21.00 my dad came from north, as it works in Calama. 

Sunday i brought breakfast to my father for his day, a card and a gift. He liked the surprise especially since we bought him his favorite cake, pineapple cake. We went for lunch at Gatsby we  usually go every Sunday when he come, Gatsby is a free fork, we were from 15.00 to 17.30 eating, my family loves to eat.

And as at 19.00 we got home, I played a few with my dog ​​and I came back to Santiago, because although we are in strike I should be here, because I am delegate my course and I must and want to attend meetings of course, career and strike activities.

My pet.

I have a dog eight years ago, his name is Doggo. It is not a purebred dog but in my opinion is more intelligent than any other dog. Gift me a cousin who had found in the street a pregnant bitch, one of her cubs is my dog.
My dog ​​is good to run, he likes to play, his favorite food is roast and when I am ill penalty or not separated from me. My mother or father can not challenge me in front of him because he barks. He is very jealous because he does not like anyone just hugged him.
My dog ​​was run over and left with a bad leg and was attacked by a group of cats that left him with some scars on his body, the important thing is that is still with me.
To care for the bathroom but hates bathing, he runs when you hear the sound of water. In winter I wipe the hair but also hates the sound of hair dryers. It has a large patio where you can run, jump and play. I love to take gifts like blankets for your bed, a new bed, toys or clothing. But always the best gift is the food

2015 student movement

In my opinion the strike focuses on internal demands of University  but it is possible that everything that is happening in the country (educational reform, teaching career, repression, etc.) may strike already become a national context.

There are schools that are in poor condition compared to other faculties, it is why you are calling for change and transparency in the budget of the university. In addition some schools have problems with authoritarian systems (Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism) from their authorities. How to participate in strikes it is part of the activities to learn and take charge of our own decision to be clear about the reason for the strikes and go marching down our demands.

The benefits expected internally is that having a satisfactory respusta rectory (the most necessary and urgent demands are met) and that the government does not continue with practices already known how to make reforms, laws, etc. without key players, in this case, teachers, students and technical education.

The drawback of strikes is that we are in a system that is overtaking us, comrades who are not informed of the reason for the strike or participate in activities and less of the marches.

If we think about the internal demands of university in my opinion for rectory and vicerectoria it affects them directly stop the administration of the university, so take tower 15 is always a good option.

Thinking about the national context visible student and teachers demands  will help the whole country hears the bad government practices that will result in lower approval and union of all citizens becoming student demands in social demands.

Game Of Thrones

Hi, everyone.

Today I'm going to talk about what I've been doing this past week. As you all know we haven't had classes in two weeks, that's why I have had a lot of free time so I decided to star a new tv series. The serie that I chose is called Game of Thrones, and it has until now five seasons, I chose it because all my classmates were talking about it so I thought that it was a good serie to watch. 

Although I had a lot of things to do in the past week end, all I did was watch the first two seasons of Game of Thrones because I got addicted. The plot of the serie is the fight of the iron throne in a land named Westeros, all the powerful and rich families are fighting for the throne.

I think I got addicted because I have always liked kingdom's stuff, and also there are so many interesting characters that I liked. On the other hand, it has a good production and beautiful landscapes and plenty of stories that converge in the main plot.

My presentation

My presentation will be related to psychoanalysis, theory founded by the Austrian neurologist Sigmund Freud in 1896, psychoanalysis is very important because the theory has influenced many other psychological schools that are not necessarily psychoanalytic.
There are many authors who have their own psychoanalytical theory but always based on Freud.

Freud contended that at the root of hysterical symptoms were repressed memories, almost always having direct or indirect sexual associations.

In 1896, Freud published his seduction theory which proposed that the preconditions for hysterical symptoms are sexual excitations in infancy.

The theory is based on the unconscious. The Unconscious contain unacceptable sexual wished that were repressed.Freud thought that because of societal restrictions, sexual wishes were repressed into an unconscious state and that the energy of this wishes could be turned into anxiety or physical symptoms.
 Freud realizes the psychic apparatus.The Id is sexual wishes, it includes everything that is inherited or present at birth, it is presented in pure form in our unconscious The Superego is the moral conscious, It refers to the capacity for self-evaluation, criticism and reproach. The Ego is the intermediary in the conflict between the Id and the Superego, It is a part of it modified its proximity to reality and comes to realistically meet the wishes and demands of it in accordance with outside world.

Cell phone

The technological part I like best is the cell phone. I like it because I can communicate in different ways: phone calls, facebook, whatsapp and instagram I can also listen to music, internet access, I can see my notes from university, take and view photos, record classes, watch videos etc.. My cell phone current  my mother bought me last Christmas. I bring with me at all times, I check it constantly, that it has brought me problems because it has become an addiction.
My life would be very different without my cell phone, my mother and my boyfriend would not bother when I use it a lot but I´m always need my cell phone,  I want to be communicated also I like listening to music and get me pictures and I can´t  imagine my life without music or without immortalize important moments. One day I was without my cell phone because the battery ran out and was not carrying the charger and I was anxious not to see messages or listening to music,  I think I'm very flawed.
I hope one day not be very dependent on my cell phone to enjoy the day.

Schoep and Unger

My favorite photo was taken by Hannah Stonehouse in 2012, who portrays the undisputed friendship between Men and dogs, in this photo we can see a man named Unger holding his dog named Schoep sleeping in his arms in the midle of a lake. Unge adopted Schoep when he was a puppy from an animal shelter. Schoep was a doggy suspicious human, because he was mistreated. So for Unger was very difficult and took many months trying to coming back in Schoep the human trust. After one year, Unger finished with his girlfriend then he fell into a deep depression,he tried to suicide in the Bakefield lake in Wisconsin, the same lake where was took the photo. When Unger was coming to the lake decided to suicide, Schoep looked him then Unger understood that he was wrong and they came back home together. Schoep does not sleep all night long and took care Unger, He was watching him every moment. Their friendship became inseparable.

When Schoep was 19 years old, Veterinarian tolds Unger that his dog was sick and suffered from arthritis. Shortly thereafter, the pains does not let to live Schoep confortable and were increasingly higher. So Unger decided to take his best friend at the lake every afternoon, because it´s making feel him better.  

I loved this photo because show us the incredible love that makes us feel the animals, the relationship that we can make with them and the things that we are able to do for them.

Pizza Hut

I do not have a favorite style of  food, a lot of people like the Italian, chinese,  arabic or are vegetarians but personally I have no preference. When I have to choose a place to eat I prefer pizzas restaurants.
There is a special place that make very delicious pizzas the name is "Pizza Hut" but no any "Pizza Hut" but the one on the street Guardia Vieja 105, Providencia, Santiago, really there pizzas are much more delicious than other premises of the same company. The Pizza that I like is the Neapolitan, regular crust, cheese edges. I like the more traditional pizzas. Napolitan pizza has oregano, cheese, ham and tomato, it is very simple but I love it.
It  is well known in restaurant the supreme fries but personally I do not like I prefer the traditional potatos chips. My boyfriends loves potato chips that place. We go together to this restaurant when we are close.

I hope that when they are near pass this restaurant, because it is not only delicious but also nice.

I would like to learn ...

My main interest is to always learn about topics that I like the philosophy, psychology and history.Of these three issues and I started to learn but you never stop doing.
But I've always wanted to learn any instrument, specifically the violin because I find it interesting, beautiful and with a unique sound. because I find it interesting, beautiful and with a unique sound, it may be for a time problem. when was wise girl playing the piano but not practice long sorry that I forgot all, although I never really liked the piano, preferred the flute or guitar.
Another thing I would like to learn is about cinema. I like watching movies but I feel I do not know much about this art, I only see movies like anyone I would be aware of it.
Another thing I would like to learn is about painting, I have never drawn or painted well. I find it very nice to express themselves through this art. I like to know the history of art but I also like to have the ability to make a work of art.

My ambition

My ambition in life is to make a contribution to society. I want to make it because I feel that everyone is a social being who can not be abstracted from the problems of your surroundings and stay alone watching or pretending that nothing happens is like that life has not meaning.

I am inspired by my parents, because when I was a kid I always listened in my house that one has a social role and should seek to make a contribution to your society always starting your immediate environment.

I think if I feel that I am no serious contribution would be frustrating,

that's why I think that completing that ambition would fill me as a person, therefore I was interested to be a philosophy teacher and after my degree, I wanted to improve myself and study a second career that is psychology.

In this way, I think that I could make a change in this society and in this world by helping the young minds.

Facebook

Today I want to talk about Facebook. I like it because I can chat whit other people for free, specially my family that live in Viña del Mar and Calama. Also I can publish things I like such as my status, my thoughts and photos, I can organize activities of my interest, I read funny things and my friends remind me of my homework that I have to do for the university.

I found about Facebook in 2008 because it was starting to become popular, all my class created an account, but it wasn't until my best friend told me about it that I decided to join the site

I check Facebook every day in my computer; even I installed the mobile app in my phone and it advises me, so I check it several times a day. Everytime I have a notification I look it in my phone.

My Week!

My week was full of many works. At the start of the week I had to give a report about a extensive book whit my classmates and we work all the last weekend in it. Tuesday, I studied Neurophisiology because wednesday  I had a test.  Thuerday, I made an assistantship to the psychology students.

Fortunately, we have a long weekend for rest from short week but move . This weekend I am gonna be at home whit my family in Viña del Mar.
